Children should be present for meal pick-up at any of the 14 locations and we ask that you take only one meal per child in the household. Regrettably, we are not able to offer meals to adults through the JCS Food Service Program. Those in need of special meals due to food allergies should contact the JCS Food Service office at (859) 887-9274, extension 4202. In the event that you are unable to access a meal service site due to lack of transportation or illness, please contact the Family Resource Center at your child’s school. If you are unable to reach someone at the FRC, contact JCS Food Service at the number above or Central Office at (859) 885-4179.
We encourage all families in our community who are in need of assistance with meals to take part in the JCS meal service program for children 18 years of age and younger. Your participation in our program to provide meals for children will help to free up resources available through other community agencies, allowing them to meet additional needs and provide critical services, including offering meals to adults.
The Jessamine County School District is committed to doing all that we can to meet the needs of our community during this unprecedented time. This no-cost meal service program will help to ensure the well-being of our community’s children by meeting their nutritional needs, while also easing the financial burden on families.
