I would like to serve as a parent rep on EJHS Site base to provide support and advocate for our students and families.  I will have an incoming freshman and look forward to great things at East High. I have served as a parent representative on Warner Elem Site base for 6 years and EJMS for 3 years. I have stood up numerous times to voice concerns from families in both schools, participated in the hiring process of several principals and served to make many positive changes in our schools. I would like the opportunity to collaborate with the council at East High to continue being a voice for students and families.
Thank you,  Geri

My name is Debbie Harrison and I am the parent of a 9 th , 5 th and 2 nd grade student. My children are involved in various academic and athletic activities which also gives me another view of our schools. While my role is that of a parent, I feel my education background gives me an appreciation for the burdens teachers and administrators face in working with our children. I am interested in serving as a parent representative on the SBDM council because I have seen what can be accomplished when administrators, teachers and parents work together for the benefit of our children. I have served on the SBDM council at the middle and elementary levels and have used those opportunities to advocate for students (and parents) from the parent perspective. As a parent representative, I will work towards better communication, opportunities for all academic levels and helping to make EJHS a safe and comfortable place for our students to grow. I am personally invested in this mission, as I will have a student at EJHS for many years to come.

I am a parent of an incoming 9th grader.  I would like to be considered for the Site Based Council . I have 3 children, one at University of Kentucky who graduated from East last year, One who will be at East High this year, and one at East middle.   I have been a member of the Site Based Council  at East Middle for three years. In this time I have advocated for students, parents, and teachers.  I believe every student deserves opportunities to learn and grow to be the very best . I believe parent involvement and parents voices are important to growing community and pride in our schools.   Thank you, Beth Wise
