Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old by August 1st, 2023.
Students who turn 5 years old between August 2 and October 1 may be eligible to enroll in kindergarten provided the student meets criteria established by JCS.
Required Documents:
- Proof of Jessamine County Residency (rental/lease agreement or utility bill dated within the past 60 days)
- Child's State Issued Birth Certificate & Any Legal Custody/Guardianship Paperwork if Applicable
- Child's Kentucky Immunization Certificate (with valid expiration date)
- Child's Physical Examination Form (exam performed on or later than 8/9/2022)
Additional Document that will be due by Jan. 1, 2024:
Vision Exam Form - (performed by optometrist or ophthalmologist)
Dental Exam Form
Steps To Register:
Step 1: Pick up a Registration Packet at the Jessamine Early Learning Village. Completing Online Registration does NOT replace this first step.
Step 2: Place all Required Documents listed above and completed Registration Packet Forms in the Registration Packet envelope.
Step 3: Complete Online Registration (OLR). Upon completion of OLR, write the OLR Confirmation # on the outside of your registration packet.
Step 4: Drop off the completed Registration Packet at JELV. If needed, copies of Required Documents will be made and the originals returned to you.
INCOMPLETE REGISTRATION PACKETS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
2023-24 JELV Class Supply List
