The Jessamine County Education Foundation continues to make a lasting impact across Jessamine County Schools by supporting innovative classroom grants, continuing education scholarships for staff, and opportunities that go beyond the traditional school budget. Because of their generosity and vision, our students and teachers have access to resources that inspire creativity, achievement, and growth.
The mission of the Jessamine County Education Foundation is to promote excellence in teaching and learning in Jessamine County through the following:
The raising, allocation, and stewardship of funds to:
provide additional financial support for public education in Jessamine County
enhance the Board of Education's ability to fund projects that promote excellence in teaching and learning
JCEF is a strong advocacy group to:
foster a vision of educational excellence in Jessamine County Schools
foster a vision of a "Community of Learners" striving for a countywide culture of educational excellence
encourage broad based citizen, business, and government support for educational excellence
strengthen the involvement of both the family and the community in education
In 2025, JCEF funded over $25,000 in classroom grants, $4,000 in scholarships, over $36,000 to student groups (sports and extracurricular activities) and over $75,000 to JCS for athletics and instructional materials.
