Today, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible custodial staff at East Jessamine High School. They are the quiet, steady force that keeps our school running day in and day out, making sure that every classroom, hallway, and space is clean, safe, and welcoming. Our custodians work tirelessly, often before the first bell rings and long after the last student leaves, ensuring that our school feels like a second home for all of us. Their dedication, attention to detail, and care for our school community go beyond words.
To our custodial team: Thank you for all that you do, not just for our students and staff, but for the entire East Jessamine family. You make our school a better place with your hard work, kindness, and support. We appreciate you today and every day.

KHEAA has been selected to participate in FAFSA Beta Testing on 10/16 and 10/17. This allows an opportunity for you to come to the KHEAA Office in Frankfort and complete your FAFSA early (before it opens to the general public in December). This will allow you to get in line for need-based aid, as well as give them a chance to provide direct feedback to Federal Student Aid in hopes of helping make the next FAFSA cycle easier for everyone. I’ve attached the steps for students/families interested in participating. Please note, students & families interested in this opportunity must attend this event IN PERSON, as specialists will be on hand to assist. Appointment times are available for October 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm, and from 1:00-5:00 pm on October 17th. Procedures are provided in the graphics!

Whether it's rain, shine, or chilly mornings, these individuals are out there every day ensuring our students arrive safely and on time to school and home! THANK YOU to our bus drivers for always going the extra mile. You are an important part of our Jaguar family!

Attention East Jessamine
High School Students & Families!
We know the weather has caused some unexpected power outages in our community, and we want to lend a helping hand. Mercantile Coffee & Feed is opening up space in the back of the shop for all East Jessamine High School students who need a place to do their hair and makeup.
We'll have large mirrors, tables, chairs, and electric outlets ready for your curling irons and other hair tools.
Just bring your own makeup and styling tools, and we'll take care of the rest.
Parents and guardians, you're welcome to sit and relax with a coffee while your kids get ready in a safe, comfortable environment.
We're proud to support our community and provide a space for you to feel at home!

This is unprecedented! With the NTI Day, we are not able to sell HOCO tickets. We will sell tickets tomorrow night from 8:30 to 9:15pm. Students must meet all requirements or Mr. Hawboldt will send students home. Make sure you're in line before 9:15pm otherwise you won't get in!

Stay safe, Jaguars! The dance is still on for tomorrow and we can't wait to celebrate last night's win and HOCO with you!
