Ms. Plaxico embodies what it means to be a leader in the East community. She is a role model to our students in the four character pillars that we encourage them to lean into every day: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Determined, and Be Engaged. She goes above and beyond to support her students day in and day out. She is a staple in our community, and we cannot appreciate her enough!

Mrs. Waggoner is remarkable because of her attention to detail in every responsibility she takes on. She shows up daily, giving 100% while being prepared and willing to work diligently. She has a careful and thoughtful approach to what she does in the classroom and is focused on the small details that help our building run smoothly.

Ms. Frizzle has been spotted at East! Well, okay, it's not Ms. Frizzle. But just like her, Mrs. Sumner inspires curiosity and a love of learning. She's ready to "take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!"

Our Student Services team went Inside Out today at East! From Joy to Sadness, each of them embraced an emotion to remind us that we all have unique feelings and are equally important—and that’s what makes us human. Thank you to our amazing team for always supporting our students with kindness and understanding, no matter the emotion.
