Summer EBT (also known as SUN Bucks) is a federal nutrition program that provides grocery benefits during the summer months to families with children eligible for free or reduced-price school meals. In Kentucky, SUN Bucks is administered by the Department of Community-Based Services, in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education, and will provide $120 per child per summer, provided on a debit-style EBT card that can be used to purchase food at grocery stores, farmers markets, and online.

If you have moved call DCBS at 855-306-8959 to update your address and receive a new card.
If your student is getting SNAP, KTAP, income-based Medical Assistance (Medicaid) or Kinship Care, they’ll be automatically enrolled.
