If you visit 5th grade in the morning, you will be challenged with a multiplication fact!
NES 5th Graders are focused on their personal improvement with the iReady war! IReady learning paths (My Path) are customized for each student based on their diagnostic data; the lessons are tailored to help your student with reading and math at their current mastery level. When students get high quality classroom instruction and complete their learning path we can see major growth in their achievement! Ask your 5th grader how many lessons they've passed this week!

Check out the sweet squirrels that our 1st graders created with Mrs. Abshear! Learners who have the time, space, and materials for creative expression have less stress, better memory, and better social connections; NES is lucky to have dedicated specials teachers who make this happen for kids!

Today is an NTI Day (non-traditional day), which allows students to continue learning at home when the weather isn’t safe for in-person instruction. Completion of these assignments count for attendance for your child on these days. Due to this NTI day being unexpected, we will allow extra time to complete and additional support for students next week.
