This program is free for Jessamine County students entering grades 8th-12th for the 26-27 school year. Participants will dive into a variety of hands-on topics, including:
Small engine and vehicle maintenance
Firearm skills at the NPD Range using Nerf Firearms
Survival concepts
Fishing at Lake Mingo and earning your Boater Certification

Pickups take place every Thursday at the following locations:
East Jessamine Middle School: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
East Jessamine High School: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Registration: Please complete the signup form once per household for the entire summer. This helps the team prepare.
Car Tags: You will receive a "SUN Meals" car tag during your first pickup. Please have this visible for all subsequent weeks.
Eligibility: This service is for rural families without access to on-site meals. Children already receiving meals at JCS Summer Camp (NES) or Parks & Rec programs are not eligible for curbside pickup.
