📚 Happy National School Librarian Day! 📖

Today, we are celebrating the incredible educators who transform our libraries into hubs of innovation, imagination, and discovery. Our librarians do so much more than check out books, they are:

✨Tech Wizards: Navigating the digital world and teaching vital research skills.

❤️Reading Champions: Finding the perfect book for even the most "reluctant" readers.

🏠Safe Harbors: Creating welcoming spaces where every student belongs.

🔥Curiosity Igniters: Supporting our teachers and fueling a lifelong love of learning.

Join us in saying THANK YOU! Shout out a librarian who has made a difference in your student's life.

Did you know?

The first six weeks for each student at The Providence School are dedicated to the Discovery Program, a unique curriculum that builds a community of learners through structured positive behaviors. 🤝

TPS middle schoolers recently put those Discovery values to work! To practice the art of giving, the class hand-made cozy blankets for our furry friends at the Jessamine County Animal Shelter.🐕

By crafting blankets and volunteering on-site, these students turned a classroom lesson into a community blessing. It’s a powerful reminder that the skills learned in Discovery aren't just for school - they’re for life.✨

Proud of these students for leading with heart! ❤️

March is Arts in Our Schools Month! 🎨

We believe the arts aren't an extra...they are essential. From the very first note in the band room 🎺 to the final brushstroke in the studio 🖌️, our students are doing so much more than making art. They are finding their voices, fueling their passions, and building unstoppable confidence.

Whether they’re under the stage lights 🎭 or behind a camera lens 📸, these moments open minds and doors to the future. 🚀

A huge shoutout to:

  • Our Students: Your creativity and perspective never cease to amaze us. Keep shining! 🌟

  • Our Teachers: Thank you for your relentless dedication to inspiring the next generation of creators. 🙌

The arts teach us to see the world differently and solve problems creatively. Join us in celebrating the power of creativity this month and all year long!✨

Big moments on brand-new fields ⚾🥎

Last night at WJHS, it wasn’t just the ceremonial first pitch—it was a celebration of opportunity.

Superintendent Crum led things off for softball, and Board Chair Steven Scrivner took the mound for baseball, helping open a new chapter on our upgraded turf fields. These improvements are about so much more than facilities, they’re about creating spaces where students can compete, grow, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Game on! ❤️

Sprouting New Connections! 🌱

Our JCTC Agriculture students visited classrooms at JELV for Ag Day, bridging the gap between the field and the lunchroom. Through a special story time featuring a favorite superfruit, blueberries, our high schoolers helped our youngest learners discover that food comes from more than just a grocery store shelf.

It’s all about planting seeds of knowledge, hard work, and sunshine! ☀️

A big thank you to these high schoolers for helping to cultivate the next crop of leaders!🚜

Remember the simple joy of finding a hand-addressed envelope in a mailbox full of "Current Resident" flyers? That spark of excitement, knowing someone truly thought of you? 💌

At East Jessamine High, that feeling filled the air during Letter Day this week. It’s one of our favorite traditions that usually brings a happy tear or two; every single student receives a personal, handwritten letter from a faculty or staff member.✉️

No grades. No due dates. No reminders about practice. Just a heartfelt message letting them know they are seen, valued, and appreciated for exactly who they are.✨

In a world that moves fast, our Jaguars got a chance to slow down and remember: You aren't just a name on a roster. You are the heart of everything we do.💙💚
