iReady, you Ready, 6th and 7th grade Ready! Congratulations to our 6th and 7th grade teams for reaching their iReady goals of 3,000 lessons passed by Fall Break! Great work students and teachers!
Each day this week, Mr and Mrs. G will be selling temporary tattoos! After purchase, you choose which teacher you want to represent your tattoo choice! On Friday, all participating teachers will be decked out in the tattoos the students chose for them! Tattoos range from $1 to $7. All proceeds go towards the students going to Festival Disney in the spring!

We've made it to the week before fall break, but we aren't slowing down yet. We have band and choir concerts to kick off the week. We've got swim team tryouts and a XC meet and a football game, then we'll end the week with our long-anticipated PowderPuff tournament and the first session for school clubs. It's going to be a fun week at EJMS and we hope it's a great one for you! And then....enjoy fall break. We'll see you with a new edition of the EJMS Jaguar Weekly in two weeks!

We're firmly into fall sports with the SRC Tournament for Girls Basketball this week and 8th grade night for Football on Thursday night. Monday is the last day to apply for Beta this semester and we've got LionHeart Experience assemblies during school along with a community event in the evening on Wednesday. Our 8th-grade health students are working on their personal and family values by building hexagon constellations.
