Happy "Dress the Teacher" Day! Mrs. Witt's students worked hard to earn this reward by receiving 25 compliments in the hallway. They put their creativity to the test, choosing from a variety of wacky options to create this unforgettable outfit for Mrs. Witt. The best part? It all happened to fall on her birthday! What a fun way to celebrate great behavior and another trip around the sun!

Who doesn't love to be "the boss?!" Miss Ferree's students have worked on their rounding skills by deciding which numeral is "the boss" when rounding to the nearest hundred!

The future is in their hands—and on their keyboards! Our amazing 4th graders are busy in STEM class, sharpening their typing skills. All of our students have access to Typing Club and can practice at school and at home.

Check out these smiles! Some of our students had a roarin' good time in class recently! Our little paleontologists got their hands dirty making their very own fossils. This hands-on activity was a fantastic way to develop their fine motor skills and learn all about dinosaurs and the amazing world of fossils. What a fun way to bring science to life!

As part of our new curriculum, Mrs. Boggs' 1st graders drew pictures and then practiced retelling a fable. We love seeing our youngest students work on their communication skills!

Our 3rd graders are diving deep into classic tales! They're not just reading captivating stories, but also working hard to identify important themes. Their dedication and work ethic in exploring these timeless lessons are truly inspiring!

Did you know that our classes create class mission statements? Check out Mrs. Maggard's class mission! Her class has been discussing being a family as Mrs. Maggard's Sea Creatures and even voted to name their octopus, Octomus Prime!

Learning from each other! Our 5th graders were hard at work during math stations, and we were so impressed with their leadership. A few students took on the role of "student teachers," demonstrating amazing responsibility and communication skills as they helped their classmates master different concepts. It's wonderful to see them collaborate and support one another!

Miss Ferree's students are practicing the skill of communication as they transform stories into the first person narrative!

Ready to get popping! We're so grateful to our amazing volunteers who are helping make popcorn for all the classrooms that earned a popcorn party. It's because of their hard work that our students get to enjoy this fun reward. Thank you for all you do!

Ms. Carlstedt's class is mastering the "O" in SOAR. We love seeing them On Task when they are working!

No more worries for these 1st graders! Mrs. Boggs' class read the classic Wemberly Worried and had a great chat about things that worry them. They learned that even Wemberly, the champion worrier, can find a way to be brave.

Mrs. Witt's students connected over the Labor Day weekend to have Popsicles in the Park! It looks like they had a great time!

Mrs. Boggs' Bumblebees worked on a directed drawing to practice following step-by-step directions. Since they are the bumblebees, their challenge was to follow the steps to make a bee!

The students in Miss Ludt's third-grade class are really flexing their critical thinking skills! They've been hard at work dissecting sentences, breaking them down to identify the nouns, verbs, and adjectives. It's a great hands-on way for them to learn about grammar. What a great example of our students in action!

Not all heroes wear capes! A huge shout-out to our amazing custodian, Mr. Zabilka, who was caught in action fixing a student's thermos during lunch. We're so grateful for his kindness and dedication!

Screaming, running, and pure joy! Recess is where the magic happens! It's more than just a break—it's where friendships are made, energy is spent, and imaginations run wild.
