Ms. Black's class handled the cleanup for our recent pizza parties. They've been recycling all year and learning all about how to keep our planet safe and clean. Way to go 2nd graders! 🌎♻️

😎Our students’ talents were shining bright during the 5th grade performance of Dragons Love Tacos! From dancing and singing to playing instruments and working backstage, every student had a part in bringing the show to life. A big thank you to our amazing music teacher, Mrs. Kasey Crockett, for providing this opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity and hard work. We are so proud of our 5th grade class!

Our Hattie Chat Morning News set was a little more crowded-and a lot more fun-this week! We opened up the mics and invited the siblings of our hardworking crew to join us behind the camera. From delivering the daily announcements to nailing the weather report, these guest stars did an incredible job. It turns out that talent definitely runs in the family! 🎤✨

🌸 Muffins in the Morning was such a wonderful way to end our week! It was truly special to see so many important women in our students’ lives come together and celebrate the power of family partnerships.💜 Thank you to our amazing Warner community for making these mornings so meaningful—and a special thank you to The Bakery Outlet for generously donating the delicious muffins!

📚We were so lucky to host author Susan Mills for a special visit with our 2nd graders this week! There's nothing quite like hearing a story read by the person who wrote it. Our students loved learning about her writing process and asking their "aspiring author" questions!

“I am the Lorax! I speak for the trees!” 🌳 Ms. Simpson’s 1st graders celebrated #EarthDay with the Lorax and gummy “earth worms.” So proud of these students for learning how to care for our planet! 🌍✨

Our 5th graders explored Shaker Village on their field trip this week. From exploring historic buildings to making some new animal friends, our students had an unforgettable day of hands-on learning! 🧑‍🌾🐐

Not all superheroes wear capes—some manage the front office at Warner Elementary! 🦸‍♀️✨ Happy Administrative Professionals Day to our very own Wonder Women, Mrs. Kim Frazier and Mrs. Cassie Davis! Whether they’re solving problems, helping students, or supporting our staff, they make the impossible look easy every single day. We love you, Mrs. Frazier and Mrs. Davis! 🚀 2nd grade had a blast at Main Event today! From laser tag to the zipline, it was non-stop fun.

We even snuck in some science! Bowling was the perfect way to learn about force and motion in action. Huge thanks to everyone who made this trip a hit! 🎳🙌

Huge shoutout to Mrs. Phillips' 2nd-grade superstars! 🌟 This hardworking crew passed a whopping 2,000 iReady lessons this year! To celebrate, the class enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream party. 🍨✨ We love seeing our students reach such big milestones. Keep up the hard work!

Ms. Ashley’s class earned the Golden Spatula for their amazing behavior in the cafeteria! To celebrate, they had a "Marley Party" with our favorite school therapy dog. 🐾🐶 Marley loved all the extra attention, and we loved seeing those big smiles! Nothing beats hard work and puppy cuddles. Great job, everyone! 🌟

It's Warner Night at the new Nicholasville Panera today, Wednesday, April 15th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.! Bring your family for dinner and support Warner PTO at the same time. You can even get your child's picture taken with Warner's wildcat mascot! You can dine in, drive through, or order online with the code FUND4U. Thank you for supporting our school!

We had some very special guests today! The EJHS Sources of Strength student leaders visited our 5th graders to share a powerful message about mental and physical well-being. Sources of Strength is all about community, and we love seeing our high schoolers mentor our future middle schoolers! 🤝✨ Come out and support our students for the Strength in Colors Color Run/Walk this Friday, April 17, from 6–8 PM at East Jessamine Middle School! This program helps our students build support through healthy activities, positive friends, and mental wellness.

The deadline to register for the next school year is quickly approaching. If you register by tomorrow, April 15th, you will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card, courtesy of PTO!! All students must be registered every year using our online registration program (OLR). The first classroom at each grade level to complete OLR will receive a pizza party!
