To wrap up their unit on the Three Branches of Government, our 5th graders drafted their own bills for our school. But having a great idea was just the beginning—they had to navigate the "legislative process," lobby their classmates, and get that final signature from the President! ✍️📜 We are so proud of these future leaders for their teamwork and critical thinking!

💙Happy Assistant Principal’s Week to one of our incredible leaders, Ms. Abby Beale!🎉 Her deep knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment makes a lasting impact on both staff and students. She builds meaningful, positive relationships with students, staff, and families and is always there to support them in ways that truly matter. We are grateful for everything Ms. Beale does - especially the countless behind-the-scenes efforts that keep things running smoothly. Her dedication, flexibility, and commitment do not go unnoticed. We are so lucky to have her as part of our Warner family!

The Lexington Children's Theater put on a wonderful performance of an African folktale, The Princess Who Lost Her Hair, for all of our students today! 🎭

What I Want to be When I Grow Up Dress-Up Day - Friday, March 27th! 🚒🍎👮

Doctor, firefighter, astronaut, chef, teacher? To add a little fun between now and spring break, we are going to have fun dress-up days every Friday! This Friday, students may dress up like what they want to be when they grow up.

📖 Our 3rd and 5th graders teamed up for a special learning experience! 🤝

The 3rd graders have been practicing a historical fiction chapter on Native Americans and had the opportunity to read these to the 5th graders. The 5th graders then showcased their latest essays, giving the younger students a glimpse into the writing journey ahead.

Students had a blast learning from one another and celebrating each other’s growth! 🌟

Tonight, March 25th, is our Science Spectacular Family Night from 5:30-7:30 p.m.! Come join us for fun, hands-on science activities, Book Fair shopping, a pizza dinner (no cost), and an engaging Wild Weather science show with Mr. Science from 6:15-6:30 p.m. It will be a fun night for all ages!

Future leaders in the making! 🏛️✨ Our 5th graders had an incredible time on their field trip to Frankfort to visit the Kentucky Historical Society Museum and the Kentucky Old State Capitol Building!

🍩 Donuts with Dudes 💙 We loved celebrating the incredible men in our students’ lives at this week's Donuts with Dudes! From dads and grandfathers to uncles, mentors, and family friends—thank you for showing up and making our Warner community stronger. A special shoutout to Jordan Pruitt with Overtime Athletics for generously donating the donuts and helping make this event so sweet! 🙌

⚽🏈🥍 Tomorrow, March 20th, is "Favorite Sports Team Shirt or Jersey Day." Students can wear their favorite team's colors, jerseys, hats, or accessories! We can't wait to see everyone's team spirit! 📣
