The book fair is almost here! The fair will be set up in the library during school hours Monday, October 20th - Friday, October 24th for students to shop. Family night will be Tuesday, October 21st. We will post more information soon about what to expect at the fair and how to shop!

This class has been learning about the brown bears at katmai national park and participating in Fat Bear Week by voting for our favorite bears! Today we rounded out our week by making brown bear trail mix!
Food labs were a hit with our students! These friends learned how to use a griddle!
The Jessamine County Public Library visited our 6th grade workshop classes today, and Sadie Ragan was the lucky winner of their giveaway! So far this year, West Middle students have checked out 299 books from the outreach collection. Thank you, JCPL, for helping our students find amazing books to read! (📸Photo credit to Mr. Heard!)
The Kentucky Poultry Federation visited Mrs. Cobb's class and student's made dressed eggs. Even during a renovation, WJMS teachers are making sure students get the full middle school experience!
Do you remember disecting in your science classes? Our 6th grade scientists had a dissection lab today to get a closer look at the inner-workings of a sheep's eyeball! 👁️👀🥽
Our football team had an incredible game against Bate on Thursday for our 8th grade night. Shoutout to all our 8th graders for their dedication and hard work this season!
