In honor of Black History Month, our students have been engaging in meaningful learning experiences that highlight the incredible contributions and legacies of African Americans throughout history. Warner Elementary students were introduced to Norman Lewis, an artist well-known for abstract expressionism, and his painting "Harlem Jazz Jamboree" during art class. At last night's meeting, the Jessamine County Board of Education proudly recognized the EJMS Beta Club for their outstanding achievements at the National Junior Beta KY State Convention last month! These talented students excelled in a variety of categories, placing in Poetry, Language Arts, Science, Computer Science, Cake Decorating, and Musicology—a true reflection of JCS’s commitment to helping every student discover their passion and purpose.

This past weekend, they competed at the WGI 2-Day Regional and walked away as Class Champions AND Fan Favorite in their division!

Congrats to the WJHS swimmers for making a big splash at the KHSAA State Championship Meet this past weekend! They brought home two impressive 4th place team finishes and clinched state titles in the Girls 200 Medley and Freestyle Relays! 🏆

This Friday's Sadie Hawkins dance is more than a night of fun~ it's a chance to give from the heart! We're honored to support Kerrington's Heart as they provide assistance and resources for children with heart defects, their families, and caregivers. ❤️

WJHS students in Ms. Hawley's physics class put their engineering skills to the test with an egg drop challenge, applying concepts of momentum, kinematics, and force. From design and build phases to testing their protection theories, they explored how physics plays a role in real-world problem-solving.
