
East’s Winterguard show this year is called “Ticket to Ride” and it’s all about having fun on the party train! They compete on Saturdays throughout March, and will be attending semi-finals in a couple of weeks!

And seniors… can you believe it? Graduation is getting real as you begin your senior checkout process! Attendance is mandatory, so be here, be ready, and give it your all.

Our Spanish students are on the clock—literally! From “Es la una” to “Son las diez y cuarto,” they’re mastering the art of telling time en español. No more guessing when la cena starts!
With plenty of hands-on-practice, they’re making every second count!

Georgetown College is looking for highly motivated students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior years of high school to attend PAEMS (Pre-Academic Experience in Math and Science) Camp, our residential 8-day program in mathematics and science. Participants preview college life as they work alongside Georgetown faculty to explore advanced topics in math and science. For over 35 years, high school students have attended this camp on our beautiful campus to take various science classes with college professors as well as explore the Bluegrass and surrounding regions. Besides offering a curriculum in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computing, and Environmental Science, we also take the students on field trips such as: Cincinnati Zoo, Red River Gorge, MacAdam Observatory, Toyota Manufacturing, and more. The $500 tuition includes housing and meals and grants are available! Students who attend this camp will also receive a scholarship if they choose to attend Georgetown College!

Our photography students are diving into the creative process, crafting their contact sheets to refine their best shots! From framing to lighting, they’re learning how to analyze their images and select the most compelling compositions. A contact sheet is more than just a collection of photos! It's a visual story of trial, error, and discovery. We can't wait to see their finished product!

Congrats to Zoey Bruner on her 8th place finish in the Long Jump at the Indoor State Championships!


KMEA State Assessment! Congratulations to both Cantemus and Chorale for their STRAIGHT DISTINGUISHED ratings! This is the highest rating they can earn. They both had a beautiful performances.
Cantemus received a 38/40 in sight reading and Chorale received a 40/40 in sight reading! These scores are the scores that mean the most!
