As we continue to celebrate our Youth Service Center and Coordinator, Sharon Mattmiller, we want students, parents, teachers, and community members to know that our center is here to help students find jobs, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in the community. Ms. Mattmiller is always ready to ask, “How can I help?”, ensuring every student has the guidance and support they need to succeed.

Join us on Thursday February 19th to celebrate Natalie as she signs her commitment letter to further her academic and athletic career at Transylvania University! The signing will take place in the EJHS Media Center at 6:00 PM. Congratulations Natalie!

We are so excited to recognize Oliver as one of our students of the month! He consistently demonstrates the qualities of work ethic for our JCS Gradaute Profile. He arrives prepared and ready to engage, actively contributing meaningful ideas that elevate classroom discussions and support those around him. Beyond the school day, he shows a strong commitment to excellence by dedicating extra time to his learning and pushing himself to grow academically. His determination, responsibility, and positive approach to learning make him a well-deserving student of the month and a true example of what it means to be a Jaguar.

Road conditions are still unsafe due to lingering ice and snow, so we’ll remain closed tomorrow. After more than a week away, cabin fever is setting in and the winter isolation is feeling very familiar. Stay warm, stay safe, Jaguars—we’ll be back together as soon as the roads are ready.
