Join us on Thursday December 11th to celebrate Logan as he signs his commitment letter to further his academic and athletic career at Midway University! The signing will take place in the EJHS Media Center at 6:00 PM. Congratulations Logan!

This month, Chris is being celebrated for exemplifying the JCS Graduate Profile of Communication. In class, Chris is the kind of student who makes learning come alive. He steps confidently into discussions, offering thoughtful insights that spark deeper thinking among his peers. His enthusiasm for sharing ideas, especially during science conversations, helps move learning forward and encourages others to jump in with new perspectives. We’re proud of the way Chris models strong communication every day. Keep shining, Chris!

Today we’re celebrating the power of lifting one another up — in our own homes and across our school community. Families shape the way children understand encouragement, confidence, and belonging, and the simple act of showing up for one another can have a lifelong impact. When we reached out to Tammy Hammond for a family photo, she sent us a picture of our football team — a reflection of how deeply she believes in supporting not just her own children, but every child she’s connected to. There’s something truly special happening at East Jessamine, and our recent state accountability results reflect the hard work and heart of our entire school community. Our students have pushed themselves to grow. Our teachers have poured in countless hours of instruction, support, and encouragement. Our families continue to stand beside us, cheering their students on. Our food service team keeps us nourished, our custodial staff keeps our school safe and welcoming, and our secretaries keep everything running with care and consistency each day. Every person who touches this building plays a part in our success.
