As School Safety Week continues, we're celebrating our incredible School Resource Officer, Officer Wade, for his steadfast commitment to keeping our campus safe. His presence and dedication are a constant source of security for our students and staff. Thank you, Officer Wade, for everything you do! #SafeSchoolsWeek #SRO #WJHS

We're celebrating the amazing academic achievement of Benjamin Swartz, who has been named a National Merit Semifinalist for the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program! This places Benjamin among the highest-scoring students in the nation. Your commitment to excellence is truly inspiring. Way to go, Benjamin!

This School Safety Week, we are proud to highlight our core values of C.O.L.T.S.: Character, Ownership, Leadership, Teamwork, and Success. By living these values, we ensure our school remains a safe and secure place for everyone to learn and thrive. It's a team effort, and we're all in it together! #SafeSchoolsWeek #GoColts #WJHS

The lady Colts took out Boyle County tonight in 5 sets!
And, we rolled out our new score table. There are 2 business sponsorships available at $5000 each or both for $8000. These are good for the life of the table (12-15 years) and will be displayed at all volleyball, boys and girls basketball games.
Email Mark.miracle@jessamine.kyschools.us if your business is interested in sponsorship. They will go quickly!
Go Colts!

Homecoming Details - we totally can't wait!

School Safety Week: Did you know West High has placed S.T.O.P. Tipline posters throughout the school? The Tipline provides a safe, anonymous way for students to report concerns and help keep our school community safe.

Our Elementary Helpers program is a fantastic way for our high school students to show off their amazing skills! With Mrs. Stevens at Brookside, our high schoolers are building strong relationships with the younger students in the library. Their consistent support and friendly conversations create a nurturing atmosphere that helps the little ones feel comfortable and supported. Thank you for your commitment to our school community!
This week is School Safety Week! 🏫✨
