This is what it's all about. ❤️

JCS administrators will tell you that connecting with students is the best part of their day.
This week, Superintendent Crum and Principal Nick Schuerman were spotted in a BES art class. They didn't just visit—they jumped right in, creating alongside our young artists and had a blast.

Moments like these are a perfect reminder that no matter the title, the heart of an educator always shines through. ✨

Drop a ❤️ to celebrate all of our hands-on leaders!

A massive THANK YOU to Lowe's for choosing The Providence School as a recipient of their incredible Hometown Heroes Project Grant and to TPS teacher, Ms. Johnson, for her initiative to apply for the funding! 💙🛠️

Lowe's associates donated their time and materials to assemble and deliver so many amazing things that will benefit our students, including a brand-new gaga ball pit and nine square game set up, a beautiful pavilion, freshly planted flowers, and some interior upgrades too!

We are so grateful for Lowe's dedication to our community and helping us enhance the learning environment for our students. Thank you for investing in our students and making The Providence School an even better place to learn, work, and grow!

Officer Bomin, reporting for duty! 👮‍♂️
A huge congrats to Warner Elementary student, Bomin, for winning the awesome chance to be SRO for a Day! He teamed up with Officer Wilson to supervise the halls, check doors, and even scored a VIP tour of the Nicholasville Police Department. We're excited to hear that Bomin was so inspired by the experience that he's now considering a future in law enforcement!

Thank you to Officer Wilson for helping to make this awesome, memorable day happen! It's a fantastic reminder of the positive, powerful relationships our SROs build with students every single day and the incredible impact those connections have. #StudentSpotlight #MentorsMatter

We were honored to host KY Education Commissioner Dr. Robbie Fletcher and KY Board of Education Vice Chair Dr. Lu Young for a look at the amazing learning happening across our district every day.

At JCTC-East, they saw our future-ready students in action in Fire Science, Culinary Arts, and Early Childhood Education

Then at East Jessamine High, they experienced our Jaguars’ academic and artistic excellence—stopping by Choir, AP Government & Politics, and AP Calculus. A special “full circle” moment came when Dr. Fletcher, a former math teacher, even jumped in for a mini lesson!

From hands-on career training to high-quality academics and the arts, we’re proud to show how JCS is ALL IN for preparing every student for their future.

Thank you for visiting! #AllinKY #VibrantLearning #JCSExcellence

We were incredibly proud to host Kentucky Education Commissioner Dr. Robbie Fletcher and KY Board of Education Vice Chair Dr. Lu Young at Rosenwald Dunbar Elementary today for a very special reason.

Our guests visited RDES to hear directly from our students about their Jessamine Cares Malawi orphan care project. It was a powerful opportunity for our young leaders to share their passion, hard work, and the global impact they are making from right here in Jessamine County.

We are constantly amazed by the compassion and dedication of our students. This project is a beautiful example of how our schools are nurturing not just great students, but outstanding global citizens.

Thank you, Dr. Fletcher and Dr. Young, for celebrating this meaningful work with us. It shows our students that being "All In" means caring for our community and the world! #AllinKY #VibrantLearning #JCSExcellence

🔥 Stop, drop, and learn! 🔥
Learning about fire safety saves lives. From practicing “stop, drop, and roll” to exploring the gear that might look a little intimidating but keeps firefighters safe, we can have fun while learning lifesaving lessons.

We're grateful for the brave firefighters who protect our communities—and take the time to educate our students! 🚒❤️

🌟 Student leaders making a difference!
Last Friday, Jessamine County students joined hundreds of their peers at the Sources of Strength Peer Leader Summit, ready to build skills for promoting hope, help, and strength in their schools.

But our students took it a step further. They weren't just participants; they were presenters in a session about community events, sharing details about the districtwide Community Color Run—an incredible event they created to foster connection, wellness, and fun.

We are so proud of these student leaders for sharing their success, inspiring others, and showing what it means to build a positive school community where everyone belongs. 💛
